Digital Sewing Pattern (Sizes 00-32)

The Hive Pullover is a boxy, knit sweatshirt with two views. View A offers an angled front yoke with a center front zipper, while View B offers a simple mock neck collar. Both views are easy fitting with dropped shoulders, forward shoulder seams, cuffed sleeves, and a semi-cropped length with waistband.

The Hive Pullover is graded from sizes 00 - 32 and drafted for a height of 5’6” (168 cm). This design has several inches of positive ease through the body and sleeves. Choose a size based on your full bust measurement and grade between sizes as necessary.

This product is a sewing pattern intended to be used by the home sewist. This is not a finished garment for sale.

This pattern is intended for the adventurous beginner sewist who has some experience sewing knits.

Mid- to heavyweight stretch knit fabrics with at least 20% cross grain stretch. French terry, sweatshirt fleece, and sweater knits weighing between 10 and 12 ounces per square yard are recommended. Ribbing may be used for the cuffs and waistband, but is not required.

Highly recommended - the pattern is so much fun to sew and customize! I went up a couple sizes and lengthened to hip length because I had a fleece with zero stretch, and it was a very cold day when I was putting it together so I really wanted an oversized soft but polished layer. So happy with the result!!I I have another fleece and a sweater knit planned next.

I really like this pattern. The directions were awesome! I'm long waisted and wish I had lengthened it (or I could have/ should made a muslin!). I tacked the points of the collar down about 1/2". It's great for winter and next one will be a lighter weight HIVE.

This is a great, well fitting pattern! I appreciated the extra support and videos explaining how to sew in the squared off collar. I had an issue with mine in terms of fabric and interfacing compatibility choice- gotta be sure to do test swatches of that interfacing on the reverse of my French terry-like fabric. I still wear it though and love it!

My favourite top ever! - I love Hive so much that I've made it twice. The first time was when I won an Instagram giveaway to win the pattern and some gorgeous Yardblox Scuba fabric to make it. I chose a beautiful lavender shade and cut it one size bigger than my measurements and slightly cropped and that version is my most favourite top I've ever made. Such a perfect fabric for this design and I get compliments every time I wear it. I also made a version in heavyweight grey cotton/spandex sweatshirting (also slightly cropped) for a more sporty look and it's fab too. Such a versatile, fun to make pattern that looks amazing and fits beautifully. Five stars doesn't seem like enough.
