Date/Time: Saturday, August 1 (9am-3pm)
Location: 2136 Apple Valley Road, Lyons, Colorado
I'm selling my goods at this new-to-me art market. The Apple Valley Art Show is August 1st and is rumored to be a very good time.
Twenty-five local artists will slinging their goods while a very large garage/vintage sale happens at the same time on the property. It's the talk of the (Lyons) town, and I'm honored to have a booth there.
I'll have pine needle earrings, baskets, branch weavings, naturally dyed goods, and handmade clothing for sale. I would love to see you.
Outstanding pattern - super fun to sew and flattering & comfortable to wear! I used a black lightweight linen in Version B but I'm looking forward to making this again in Version A and also cropping the pattern into shorts length too!
This is such a quick sew. I made the size 14, since that’s closest to my measurements, and I made no changes since the pattern is already really long so that you can tuck it into pants. It’s so comfortable to wear!
Great pattern. Raglan sleeves are great for me because I have narrow shoulders; the Monarch’s sleeves pattern pieces fit perfectly. This was my first version years ago, but I’m sharing since it’s modified. It may give you some ideas of how to get more mileage out of this pattern.
I simplified mine since my fabric (a quilted-look low-stretch knit) was a bit bulky. I left off the sleeve cuffs and the bottom band. Then, I used a big sew-on snap (covered by a big button I found in my button box) only at the neckline instead of the visible snaps. So, this is a bit of a swing style. Super easy to wear.
I used this pattern to make a top to wear over tights. I found this an easy pattern to make, and love the relaxed style and comfortable fit.
I love the Killa tank! Best pattern ever of any tank pattern!
